Part of me thinks this is a little foolish sending this out. Another part of me just wanted to do it because he deserves it. Each one of you in one way or another came into contact with Leroy. All dog owners know what its like to have a dog as your best friend. Their love, compassion and loyalty were unconditional. They never seem to have a bad day and are the first to greet you with a lick and wag of the tail.
I know he was just a dog but he was a major part of our family. What a life he lived – 13+ years! We recently got to spend one more Christmas with him. I only had him for three years in Gainesville for law school but what great memories. He then spent another 10+ years soaking up the sunshine in Stuart and keeping my mom company. Thanks for all the great memories…..you were the best!
